You don't know whole story without that coming to conclusion .

The reson are many more I hired only her for working sometimes she used to send any of her sister or mother to work .I don't want starngers at my home . Sometimes those people who I have no idea about . Sometimes she didn't used to come on day she was suppose to .

Her work was not even cleaning a three bedroom apartment very less and she was hired by my aunt for herself .

She agreed on working on that price it's still too much for a maid .

Then sunddenly she demanded three times the price literally and for what in OP 's case sshe sounds to be very genuin at least but in my case she was sending strangers in my house yo work on her behalf not coming half days from a moths .For what she deserve high prices when she is not even giving good services .

What I pay to her her twice than what anybody else might have paid .

It's not only because prices but because of services .

She is enlighted to demand what she wants so do people who are hiring them are enlighted to agree or disagree .

We don't owe each other anything and anybody is not doing favour on anybody when they are working for money .

It's not something someone should be thankful (it applies from both side person who is paying and person who is working ).

So may be you mistook my words .
