AITA for not wanting a relationship with my parents and feel they’ve gone too far this time?

I wanted to check before responding.

Given the ridiculous ability to create logical equivilanciss that do not exist.

"well you made it to 18 so things must be ok" vs "You made it to 18 and are looking at colleges you may not be happy with their effort lately. But over 18 years they could have been a hell of alot worse"

Is as as correct as saying "It's a green light your okay to drive 80 in a playground zone."

Hint they are both wrong.

While it is equally as correct to say the sun is made of carrots chewed up and spit by Mr. Burns, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill and Napoleon Bonaparte third nephew by way of his wife.

Once again this statement is wrong.

Because you at least kept it relevant to general state of being (good, bad, okay, could be worse) I figured I would keep mine relevant to driving.

I never said the parents were justified in anything they did. I did say OP was valid to think (I should have used feel instead of think) the way he does about his mom not being there for him lately.

Your interpretation of what I said is incorrect.

Make sure when you're giving driving lessons you don't say it's okay to go 80 in a playground zone when the light turns green.
