LPT: If you have a friend that recently joined a multi-level marketing (MLM) business, you would be well advised to gently remind them you wish to remain friends…..rather then a prospect.

I live an at-will state. I've watched managers fire people for being "less than exemplary". I loved that job, it was a ton of physical and mental labor. I was promised a pay raise for my increased responsibilities for over a year. In your world, i shouldve showed up for my shift, looked my friends in the eyes and told em to get stuffed or put in my two weeks as a signifier that i was not gonna be pushed around. A year is a long time. I got bit, hard, and i bit back because leaving a gaping hole in workload that forced my manager to do THEIR job was the right thing to do. I dont deserve to hand out my respect if none is shown to me, lying to my face for a year is pretty disrespectful. You may be skywalking but you're also enabling corporate giants and local businesses to continue to abuse their employees that're the foundation of their company, that's wrong.
