Second, the subsidized companies.

Just because China is stupid enough to give US consumers a freebie, doesn't mean that our government should be stupid enough to not let them have it. All they're doing is freeing up capital in the US economy to go to savings or more productive things. Basically, you are making a statement of faith that the governments can allocate capital more effectively than the market can, that the gov of China allocating capital and resources to industries that the central planners think is important will work out better than if the US is left to let the market respond.

My whole point was that it's not China's interference that's screwing us up, it's our own government's.
