am I a frustrated noob?

every morning class I have enough time for 1 roll after class. Well actually I don't, but I can sneak into work 10 mins late and its not a big deal.

today I left class so frustrated, I'm making a post about it.

We will call the staller Bill. Bill has around 30 pounds on me, and much stronger. No big deal, pretty common... cool. Yeah let's roll. We start in his closed guard and the guy just stalls every moment he can. He is much stronger then me and I cannot break his grips. He plays like he is up an advantage with 15 seconds left in worlds. ties me up, regardless where we are in the roll. Dual overhooks, cradle, wherever he can find. He has both of my hands trapped when I had back control, and I made the terrible choice to body triangle him hoping thr discomfort would make him make a move, he leans to that side and traps my legs. we sat there for 2 full mins. Hands trapped and legs trapped. I literally went limp, hoping he would try to escape because we were just sitting there!! Nothing!! I said to him mid roll, are you going to try anything??? no response and just kept my arms trapped. For the entire roll, he did not attempt 1 sub, or an escape, sweep, reguard, nothing. all he did was Neck cranks, wrist and arm control. Wtf is this? I left class because he was the only one rolling. It was literally the least eventful, boring roll ever. It really sucks because I never have not had fun doing jiujitsu before. I told myself if he asks to roll, I'm just going to decline and roll with someone else. is that a douche move? I often run drills with Bill, he is a good guy and I like him, but I'd rather do burpies then "roll" with him.

either way, Its kinda funny how aggravating it was to me, but fuck that was annoying. what would y'all do?
