I get being irritated about the cold thing and the suffering comment- old people always think babies are cold! But it’s better for them to be a little cold then too hot- they can die!

It drives me crazy when people think they know what my baby wants. Like he’s MY son who I spend every waking moment with him I think I know what he wants. You see him once a week for two hours.

I will say though the comments about your husband playing with your child and his response are a little bit of a red flag. Your family does seem overbearing but this does seem like they were genuinely concerned for your child’s safety. And for your husband to just say that your dad isn’t allowed to see your child anymore? Seems like an immature response. And did he clear that decision with you first? I don’t have all the info but to me, that part seems like it could have been handled more maturely.
