Keep in mind the people most able to carry out a violent revolution are gleeful supporters of fascist governments here.

The 2nd Amendment is falsely seen by people as a check on government tyranny, but only tyranny against the 2nd Amendment. It's a beautifully tragic and numbing cycle. Kids in concentration camps? Nah. Voter suppression? Nah. Police brutality? Nah. Background checks? Time to load up and shoot some pigs.

In fact, most paramilitary groups are far-right, and groups like the 3 Percenters showed up armed at the Charlotesville rally to protect the neo-Nazis. There's a couple black separatist groups here and there but as soon as they get involved the entire country is glad to suppress the 2nd Amendment, because if there's anything white people with guns love in America, it's taking away guns from black people.
