Usually I didn't give any damn, until recently. I came across on article about horrendous bible verses.. I read almost all of them and wrote down where are they placed in the bible (books, chapters, verses) to just have as a reminder in potential discusion. Usually I just go by but this time, seeing all the shit on my facebook wall I got inflated over that. Under that article Christian apologets teach everyone how ignorant atheists are, that we don't understand how to interpret bible, that only NT is moral guide and that we treat it out of context blah, blah.. But with all the horrible and weird stuff in ST I don't know what is there that I don't see, that sophisticated christian bible readers do. Those verses just made me mad when confronted with christian preachy bullshit. There are commands to kill believers of other religions, kill man of other tribes, enslaving others, raping women, incest, genocoide of innocent egyptians, challenges to fcking killing own child!, commands for Jozue or David for cruelty, bears killing children, stoning guy for collecting branches during saabath. Weird advises as for cutting hand of wife if she touches genitals of other man while her husband is arguing him (wtf?) and other sick shit. But, no, I don't see shit or interprate it badly. As I said, usually I don't give a damn but this time I just got pissed off.
