Agreeing with this. Decency requires honest analysis of claims of harassment, discrimination, etc. on our part - unfortunately this is easily used by crazies/people arguing in bad faith. You can also see the same (less frequently) in accusations of racism, etc. The burden remains on us to do this lifting, even as they pile on more and more.

A great example of this in action is the Lee Carter twitter nonsense going on right now. Carter's advocating for assault survivors. A politically motivated black man challenges him with rape denial and makes a baseless statement that Carter may face such accusations against himself. Carter tells him to eat shit. This is then translated through into a conversation about Carter's treatment of one asshole rather than his larger work to advocate for survivors.
