This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. What exactly makes you think I was justifying it? If you'll reread what I wrote you'll see at no point did I even remotely suggest that. No one can even talk about the Turkish perspective because that position has been vilified and alienated into silence. Well I refuse to be silenced by this straw man. In the absence of a Turkish narrative of events the only narrative remaining is that of the Armenian government, and if you trust their narrative any more than the official Turkish government narrative then you are a naive fool. The Armenian government stands everything to gain from discrediting Turkey and has been doing just that for over 40 years. Blindly accepting their narrative is as bad as getting all your news from a singular, obviously biased source.

Just for the record (and because apparently it's necessary to constantly defend this position against straw man attacks) I AM NOT SUPPORTING, JUSTIFYING, OR DEFENDING THE EVENTS OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE.
