I have never played any of the AC games but I've only heard good things about them. Especially the third one which is why I'd really like to give it a shot.

Recently I finished Shadow of Mordor which is a fantastic game, I've heard people say it is highly influenced by the Assassin's Creed series like the free running, parkour type elements and stealth sections. I put 40 hours into it and pretty much 100%ed the main storyline and everything you can do in it. I can't really unlock any of the DLC achievements since I don't own the DLC but that's okay.

I'm craving more storyline based games and Assassin's Creed seems right up my alley. One of my favourite things to do in SoM was to use stealth and just come up from behind Orcs and just pick them off one by one.

One of the things that interest me most is that AC seems to implement history into it's storyline which is compelling to me since it's one of my favourite series is Age of Empires which did the same thing. It would take real history situations and kind of embellish the story for entertainment purposes but you would still learn about history at the same time.

I watched the trailer and it seems the main character is Native American like me! It would be easy for me to immerse myself to the main character while he struggles with his identity of being a native but also wants to be a fighter in the revolutionary war. My ancestors fought in the Revolutionary war to protect Canada, so it would be very cool to try experience that firsthand.
