Bank of America charges a .3% fee for CASH DEPOSITS over $7500.

People love to hate on BOA on reddit, but the fees and negative things apply mostly to people who are in a bad financial state. For most Americans these fees do not apply. People who are just getting on their feet, or low income, it seems BOA doesnt really cater to.

I do everything through BOA, my investment account, my CC, and my checking. There arnt any maintenince fees or fees of any kind. I dont have to pay transaction fees on any ATM withdraw, they even reimburse my costs from non-boa cash machines. Because I use Bank of America I get 100 free trades through merrell edge every month. Due to the boost of being a platinum honors rewards member, I get 5.25% back on gas and 3.5% back on my groceries.

TLDR: BOA is a great bank so long as you have money.
