I'm Asian and I grew up in the south then flew to the west coast to study & experience a different lifestyle. (I actually chose UCSB cuz they had the least amount of Asians among other UC schools haha) Less than 5% of my graduating class in high school were minorities, among that, only 2% was Asian. Majority was white obviously. Finishing up my third year here at UCSB. To answer your question, I personally feel like there's too many Asians but all my friend says there's not that many... Back to your question; considering you came from a place that was dominated by Asians, this may not be the school for you (if you're specifically looking for Asian people lol). But if you're wanting to know if Asians can coexist here at UCSB, they certainly can lol.
