Burger-gate over - New Zealand bureaucrats burned to a crisp over new rules | Steak tartare, carpaccio and other uncooked or rarely-cooked fare will also be allowed onto the menu in New Zealand after bureaucrats found a way for the nation to dine as it wishes.

There's a difference between LOCAL regulations, STATE regulations, and FEDERAL regulations. If you dislike the LOCAL laws(like in the case of the lemonade stand), you simply move to the next town or state. It's the was the USA works. It allows thousands of different sets of laws, so that in theory, everybody can live in a society they agree with.

Against abortion? Move to a state where it's illegal.

Want kids able to sell lemonade without a permit? Move to a town where that's allowed.

Hate kids who sell lemonade without a permit? Move to a town where they are strict about things like that.

The USA does have regulations regarding safe preparation of food. And I already said in my post "we have the same problems locally in the USA". For instance, they disallow the selling of Raw Milk... which I disagree with... because if people want to drink it... I don't see why they should be kept from it. Same with Raw meat.

Both are almost unarguably HEALTHIER for a person(although I'm sure I couldn't consume either without throwing up, personally).
