CA Prop 13: An example of a law that disproportionately affects Asians

No, I just mean to say that simply voting isn't enough to change anything. To actually be able to overturn prop 13 the Asian community would have to actually politically participate. We would have to spread awareness, without polarizing people or racializing the issue. Which means focus on arguments about how it affects the liquidity of the market and dis-incentivizes selling homes, effectively impeding the free market, inflating prices, and screwing investors, renters, homebuyers, and in some cases even homeowners.

As minorities we do not have the numerical dominance to drastically affect policy via voting. So the only alternative is a high level of political involvement.
