Can *anyone* make FAANG by leetcoding?

Yes. Here's what my internship search looked like over multiple years

Freshman Year: Fall: Did nothing, getting used to school Spring: Went to my schools career fair and applied to a few places but nothing Summer: Took on a volunteer intern opportunity to build an open source Electronic Health Records system. Internship thanks to Opportunity Hack, no application needed

Sophomore Year: Fall: Applied to places and started leetcoding, I couldn't even do Two Sum and binary search. Spring: Continued to do so, until I got an offer from Liberty Mutual. 235 apps for this season and 100 unique leetcode questions completed total Summer: Summer SWE Internship with Liberty Mutual

Junior Year Fall: Didn't have time to apply to many places due to difficult classes. Only applied to 10 places, including Amazon Spring (Current): Got OA for Amazon in January, interviewed in Feb, got offer from Amazon for SDE Intern. 20 apps this season and 150 unique LCs completed total including last year's
