I would say no, i had a relationship with a 42 year and 35 year old ages 17- 19 and im 23 now and regret it enormously. (35 year old was french too). It may seem like a good choice but its soooo not. They were not terrible guys, not creepy or weird but the age gap is predatory period. I dont even know what else to say because if someone had said this back then i wouldve 1000% brushed it off. I have no idea what i couldve said to my 18 year old self to get me to not do it but id advise against it. Im not against age gap relationships but at your age the power dynamics are off and i know it does not feel that way. I only saw it in hindsight. Theres always a reason he is dating an 18 year old and not a woman his age.
