Giving out money for “free” will just cause inflation (see what happened recently). Creating universal income will just raise costs of everything else. Soon universal income can only afford homelessness. People want to focus on giving money to people as a way to solve poverty but it doesnt work that way. You have to find cheaper ways to make things. Cheaper ways to make houses or make food. America is the prime example. We started minimum wage with no way to fairly increase it. Now min wage is poverty. But at the same time everything is more expensive in america than just about everywhere.

Bottom line, you cant solve these issues by printing more money.
