Celsius or Fahrenheit?

I don’t think being provided resources is “freedom”. I’m not saying they shouldn’t be provided, but I’m saying that’s not what freedom is. Freedom to me means the individual is able to determine their own path and make their own decisions about how to live their life without being told what to do by a bureaucrat.

I’ve said in other comments that the US healthcare system isn’t perfect and needs improvement. I also think that if the US constitution were truly followed, meaning no restrictions on the press or speech, freedom to keep and bear arms, true adherence to the 4th amendment (no TSA, NSA, Patriot Act), we’d be looking at a pretty solid place.

I don’t understand why Europeans seem to think that individual freedoms must be sacrificed on the altar of affordable healthcare, because they don’t. They aren’t mutually exclusive.
