Christianity, Homosexuality and the Death Penalty.

The New Covenant has superseded the entirety of the Mosaic Law, For our Hebrew noahide, and Athiest friends I draw your attention to.

(Jeremiah)

This means that people will be more eager to follow the law (because it's written on their heart) and for that reason (their change of heart) God will remember their sin no more. So the passage actually means the opposite of what you say it does.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Which is why people have to turn away from sin and accept Jesus... and why? Because if they don't, they die.

Then Jesus straightened upb and asked her, “Woman, where are your accusers?c Has no one condemned you?”11“No one, Lord,” she answered. “Neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.”

So you're assuming that because Jesus didn't condemn an adulteress in one instance, when the Pharisees were trying to use her to start trouble, and then Jesus commanded her to never sin again, that this is the same as Jesus saying: "No one is ever allowed to have any death penalty for anything whatsoever, in any society for all time"? Okay. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

Have you not heard of Anthenagoras of Athens who said

Christians "cannot endure even to see a man put to death, though justly."

I'm a Christian and I can... so what's your point?

2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Yeah and he was the same in ancient Israel when he gave them the death penalty as part of their law. What's your point?

and lastly what ye mete unto others it shall be done unto you.

Exactly. So if you condemn someone for homosexuality when they practice gay sex, you will also be condemned for homosexuality if you practice gay sex. Again, what's your point?

7Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

This is in the context of being generous and giving people a chance when they wrong you. Are you trying to say that this is really about a system of law and actually means: "No one must ever be punished by any law whatsoever, they are not allowed to even receive a speeding ticket if they go speeding, because that's not being forgiving"?

Again, whatever interpretation floats your boat...

For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.(Luke)

Exactly. So anyone who wants to condemn homosexuality shouldn't practice it themselves.

Exhort and Call on that Homosexual to turn to repentance to seek entry into life , call on him or her to repentance, but also pray for God to make them better

I agree. And on top of that there should also be a just legal system in place, of which there is none more just than the laws of God. And what does the law of God say?

"If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them."

Not only does it say "they shall be put to death", but it cleanses the person who puts them to death of any wrongdoing. It says "their blood shall be upon them", meaning that if they are put to death, it is their own fault, not the fault of the one throwing the stone.
