Bottom line is that all evidence I have followed points to the British being the primary subverters by training the OSS (CIA precursor) in the first place. What I'm currently trying to understand better is the relationship between the Carrol Quigley citation of the Cecil Rhodes, Lord Palmerstoneque round table groups (CFR is but one of their extensions), primarily backed by the Rothschild Zionist group, and the Papal and black Papal (Jesuit, Knights of Malta, et al) group. Given the British monarchies traditional opposition of the papacy, the seeming aligned interests between the two are a bit confusing sometimes.
Essentially, according to EIR's intel and Webster Tarpley (both to be taken with their biases in view, for example Tarpley is Catholic and denies the Jesuits are as powerful as they are), King Edward the 7th is the primary entity responsible for the setup of WW1 and hence WW2. The fact that he allowed court jews to buy position by becoming his finance managers in return for providing him a profit indicates to me Edward the 7th is a central node in understanding the merging of the British oligarchy and the Zionist oligarchy (aside of course from the Luciferian Kabbalistic Sabbatean Frankist relationship with the Freemasonic groups).

Speaking of CIA and Mafia, the main modern connection even past the use of the real Mafia in WW1/2 would be Operation Gladia A/B, so there are some interesting connections there. Besides the Italians and their connection to the real global oligarchy via Venice/Vatican, the majority of indicators show me that the Jewish Mafia was more powerful and pulling the strings of the Russian/Italian/Irish mafias.
And now I've gone on a tangent, all to say, you are right. The CIA/OSS was designed from the get go as the most convient way to subvert the US from the inside. Truman, a tool of the elite, even wrote after JFK was assassinated that he never intended for the CIA to become what it did (also implying they were involved, which, of course, they were), and Dulles himself personally flew out to ask Truman to retract the story.
Even within the military intelligence arena, they have an adversarial relationship with the company, because they do shady ass shit.
For example, think about Abel Danger and 9/11. It was CIA people who pushed the state deparment visa approver in Saudi Arabia to give some of the hijackers their visa's even though they were throwing red flags up. The CIA withheld information about the attackers from the rest of the intel community. The list of actions like this where the CIA seems to be borderline treasonous is long.
