Doing anything for religious reasons isn’t logical or rational. Yet, we live in a world where humans are irrational beings. What people believe matters. It affects what people think and how they act. Therefore, it affects what results we get from the action taken. Wars have been fought, people killed, laws made, rules created, relationships ruined, all done based on what people believe to be true. There’s personal truth. Political truth, and Objective truth. Until you change what people believe then you’re going to have challenges. Circumcision is just another example of irrational behavior done by people who are not yet convinced that their beliefs to justify their actions should be changed. Persuasive evidence is lacking.
