The college is still being an asshole about loose ends, but after a year of bullshit, this felt SO good.

Strap yourselves in, this is a long story. Backstory, me and this girl are journalism majors at the same college. We had a design class together, basically learning how to work Photoshop and Indesign for designing newspaper and magazine covers. Fun class. Anyway, I've been flirting and getting along great with this girl for a few months, so I ask her on a date to a concert that was going on at the center of the arts. She says yes, we go, me and her start making out. Side note, I understand that I jumped the gun going this fast this soon, but she didn't say or do anything that suggested she was not cool with this, she kept smiling away and having a good time. Apparently she WAS uncool with it as she said her roommate was sick and bailed halfway through the concert. I say that's cool and she goes off, I continue watching the concert.

The next time we had class, she then told me she thought it was going too fast, she wanted to take it slow, I agree. I ask if I could just get something out of my system, she said sure and (I'll admit, I DID fuck up here) grabbed her boob on the outside of the shirt. Again, she seems cool with it, she kisses me, and things go on.

And then the shit hit the fan.

I got a call later that day from the campus police saying to not attend the class for the remainder of the semester and not make any contact with her. I'm summoned to the student rights office and told she filed a Title IX charge against me for "unwanted sexual contact." In short, I had to complete the course outside of class (still got an A, suck on that) and attend a hearing. My stepdad was allowed to be my silent advisor, but not allowed to ask his own questions. So I had 2 counts against me: one for kissing her at the concert, and one for grabbing her tit. I plead not guilty on the grounds that she was blowing this out of proportion. As it goes on, she says that she didn't press criminal charges against me because, and I quote, "I don't want him to get in trouble, just for him to learn a lesson," to which the responding officer said "Then what the hell are we doing here?" Then the verdict: Not guilty on the first one, guilty on the second. I got suspended for the following Fall semester, forced to take a sexual harassment course, I'm on academic probation, and a bunch of other bullshit sanctions. I tried appealing it, but they essentially told me to go fuck myself. Fine, I'll deal with it.

Now for why I had to be in court. In September, she alleged that for 10 days straight, I had been coming to campus and harassing her with physical contact. That's fine, except for one little problem: I live 30 miles away from campus and my car (my only source of transportation) had been dead since May. She filed charges against me, my parents and I lawyer up. The day I go in to plead not guilty and set the court date, she's there with a friend and on crutches (hmm, how convenient.) Anyway, the day we go in to fight or workout a deal, she suddenly puts the brakes on and jumps at the opportunity to drop the charges (my guess is she found out what would happen if she got outed as the lying bitch she is.) The lawyers decided that if there's no more problems throughout the spring, the charges will be dropped. Yesterday, we did just that. I go up to the judge, the lawyers discuss dropping the charges, and the judge told her lawyer to make it clear to her to leave me alone.

So the nightmare is over. After 30 days, I can file an appeal and get this shit completely off my record. I still have some shit to deal with the college, but it's finally done, I can move past this.

TL;DR Girl turns out to be a bitch in disguise, gets me suspended, tries to screw me over again, bit off more than she could chew.
