First, how do you do it? Is it your diet, your youthful looks, your meditation practice. In other words, I don't have what it takes to be a moderator. Thank you.

Since I'm not familiar with linking a mod message, the best I could do was to copy/paste. As you requested:

Would you please tell me why the bot removed my post?

Thank you.

Posts must focus on civilization's collapse, not the resulting damage.

Second, Varki is one of the listed authors in the wiki. This is rather extreme form of censorship.

You have made 7 posts within the last 3 weeks that have not been removed, therefore claiming that all of your posts have been removed is a bit of an exaggeration. While we appreciate the enthusiasm that you are showing towards posting content, which we don't want you to stop doing, the posts of yours which I had personally removed are centered around the riots, and therefore doesn't necessarily constitute collapse. I also indicated that you were free to post in the megathread, where users have a space to share their ideas and content about the riots.

Second, Varki is one of the listed authors in the wiki. This is rather extreme form of censorship.

Removing an unrelated post is not censorship, you're still free to participate in the subreddit as you wish.

Taken at face value, your post is just a picture of a moon and a tree without context, and so is not up-to-par as a submission to this subreddit. You are free to share your picture in the weekly observations thread if you're inclined to do so, but the mods must keep the quality threshold higher for content submissions. As the number subscribers slowly grows from 200,000 to 300,000, we will continue to get more posts just like this which will take away space on the front page from other important events that are taking place.

I hope this clears things up for you.

Look more closely at the picture. It is an image of the moon in the background with an airplane flying between the moon and the tree in the foreground. Apparently my image didn't convey the idea I had intended (traveling by airplane is denial). I am willing to post again without the image in hope that at least one person will be interested in ready Varki's book. Maybe I'm assuming too much, but once in awhile it is worth having a post or two about books that can provide some insight in our predicament.

I agree with you on the quality threshold. Under another name, there is a sub that is complaining about quality submissions. They are nearing 10K subscribers. If only we could turn back the hands of time...I will keep your point in my mind the next time I post.

Thank you.
