The way women are often treated in these situations is like if a cop pulls you over in a Ferrari and you're over the speed limit then you get arrested, but if you're in a Mini then you just get a warning, even if you were going at the same speed.

This also applies to the whole "never an excuse to hit a woman". Yeah, you shouldn't full on blast a 100lbs woman if you're a 300lbs guy and she's just flappy-slapping you, but you can totally flappy-slap her back to get her away from you. The average woman is not as strong as the average man, that doesn't mean they are literally made of paper.
