That wasn’t the graph for “welfare recipients,” welfare recipients and states taken in funding from federal programs for things like public roads, public schools and other infrastructure are two different things. Isn’t it ironic how states who benefit most of federal aid are full of people who think “socialism bad!”

But alas, Alabama ranks top for welfare recipients as well alongside other red states.

I’m not trying to punish anybody but if they want to keep crying to secede, let them. We don’t benefit letting them take from our own state wealth and then coming back to put regressive policies in place for the rest of us. If they secede like they want, it’s like the trash took itself out.
