As a male, I've found women hardly ever actually mean it when they say they are cool with "just sex." And when they don't receive the emotional attention they promised they didn't need, sometimes they will say/do things that are hurtful or try to hurt your reputation. I just don't trust women enough when it comes to casual sex quite frankly.

No issues in real relationships, but I've had some horribly negative experiences with women that felt like they were used after I told them I didn't want a relationship.... even though I don't owe anyone a relationship just because I agreed to sleep with them.

(Obviously I know not all women are the same. This is typically just what my experience has been. Hasn't all been bad, but just not worth the risk tbh.)
