Cosplay’s usually lit

If by cosplay you mean reenactors, I dont know if it's fair to say reenactors(at least most of them) are the equivalent of a fanbase. Those guys are pretty weird, but they really are all about getting hands on with history, not so much "the south will rise again" fanboys. I think it's a weird hobby, but generally they will switch sides (blue to gray and the reverse) if the numbers aren't right. They inherently cant do reenactments without a certain number of Confederate AND Union soldiers. I know the argument for statues is "it's our history", and it's a lame excuse because it's a monument. With renactments, it really IS history, as it happened. Win, lose, or draw the reenactors stick to the book. I've been to one and the reenactors generally come over to answer questions about the battle after it's over, no glorification or deification of either side, just reverence for history. It's odd, but I respect it and am glad they still do it.
