I personally wouldn't feel endangered by this particular individual but some woman by herself at night might. I wouldn't have resorted to violence as quick as this guy I'd probably ask what the hell are you doing and if he clearly wasn't all there then I'd just call someone who is specialized in working with people like him or the cops but if he was just some drunk bastard acting like an asshole then yeah I would react similarly. You can't just be ok with be going around sexually harassing people at night time. They need to be dealt with accordingly (whether that be a shelter or home for the mentally ill or an ass kicking for those who should know better)
