This couple married for 70 years were scheduled to get the Covid-19 vaccine, but died from the virus before their appointment

I’m still salty about OhioHealth. For a not-for-profit, they sure don’t act like one. When I needed antibiotics (after having waited fourteen days to be sure) I went to an OhioHealth urgent care, and the nurse practitioner recommended I go to the emergency room. Then, instead of giving me the medicine I knew I needed, she made it a longer wait (days) to get a test to confirm I needed antibiotics; that test cost $1,150. She called up saying “well you really know your body, you were right!”

It was really sad that an urgent care wouldn’t prescribe me antibiotics knowing fully well it was what I needed, while telling me the urgent room was more appropriate (there was nothing urgent at all), and a refusal to assist without expensive tests.

I suppose they need to pay for their new $90 million headquarters somehow. Again, not for profit, yet they charge three to ten times more than CVS (which is for-profit).
