Daily Simple Questions Thread - July 25, 2020

How do I begin to get serious about getting in shape? I’ve done some lifting and cardio and ate ‘healthier’ while not exactly keeping track of exactly what in my body. But I want to start dieting and exercising seriously soon since I’m at the perfect point to start (I’m a man, 23). I’m not overweight by any means, but I want to bulk up quite a bit. There’s so much half-baked information out there on the internet, so I really have no idea who I should trust, where I should look, and what diets and workout plans -actually- work. I don’t want to blindly follow someone’s guide, I want to learn exactly what I’m doing. ‘Getting serious’ about it
