A Dallas police officer breaking into tears at Baylor Hospital after the shooting tonight

They are both wrong.

But retaliation (bordering on acts of terrorism) is despicable. The cops who got killed tonight weren't the ones who killed those black men. They didn't deserve to be murdered. They are humans with families and people who love them, just like the black men who were murdered. So how does killing random police officers solve anything? It's a disgusting, twisted, ignorant act of revenge. It doesn't fix anything.

if Black Lives Matter had a direct connection with these killings - and let me emphasize the IF - then I've lost all support for them, I've lost all respect for them. From my viewpoint, sadly, it looks like it is indeed a calculated attack by BLM (considering it was at a BLM rally). Look at the hateful, violent things their spokespersons have said before... Put two and two together. But I'm contradicting myself, so I'm not going to say anything further because we don't know enough details, and I'm not going to condemn a specific group (BLM) over this, despite what it looks like has occurred.
