I don't know your situation or what transpired. I feel like belief is much more of a choice than what you are forced into by family or friends. If you are only somewhere because someone expects you to be there, it is best not to be there.

I can see someone who is a friend reaching out to you and asking if you are ok. But the standardized letter stating that you are wrong and have to come back, does more to push you away.

Keep your eyes open and look for what is true.

Athiesm has become a religion in its own accord to some people and groups, ask all the questions you need to know where everyone stands, and decide where you stand.
