This subreddit is a place to motivate each other to control or stop drinking. We welcome anyone who wishes to join in by asking for advice, sharing our experiences and stories, or just encouraging someone who is trying to quit or cut down. Please post only when sober; you're welcome to read in the meanwhile.

While we ask our users to only make submissions while sober, the relationship our members have with alcohol outside of that rule is completely up to them. Some people here are still drinking daily, and some haven't drank in decades. We are here for everyone who needs support with drinking regardless of their current drinking status, and as long as they are sober when they post here and following our other rules.
