Drug dealer stole $100 from my friend. This is how we got our revenge.

I find it sad that his future is worth $100. Then again, perhaps he never envisioned a lonely nerd scouring the interwebs for his identity and then reporting the details / picture of him smoking to his university.

I mean, I can't say that it's a common occurrence... This is the fourth time I've used my abilities to find people online, but the first time I've used it in this manner.

The first time, I found someone's home phone number and reverse phone searched them to get their family's full names, professions and address.

The second time, an admin on a forum told me he would dox me and publicize it. So I naturally spent the next four hours researching everything I could until I found a hit. I called the guy, told him I was insert-forum-username and scared the shit out of him. I posted his dox on the forum, got perma banned and then convinced him to unban me or I would post the rest of his info too. We later became online friends.

The third time, an online web host (Start up) scammed a bunch of clients. This was the third web host start up to pull this stunt over the course of the summer, all affecting one online community. I had a hunch it was the same person using multiple hosting companies to pull the same stunt. I literally stayed up for 48 hours collecting data. This was hard as hell, but I eventually linked the scam companies together by finding geo-location checkins publicly posted on Facebook on their company pages, as well as two of their aliases being linked to the same WHM License #. There was a lot more info in there as well. To put in perspective, I had about 70 different files saved in a folder proving the scam. This one backfired... Towards the end of the search I was able to actually link the scam-host aliases to a reputable Moderator within the online community. I went forward anyways. I created a website to host the information so that the info would be publicly available even if I was banned from their forum. Of course, I was banned quickly, but the site stayed online and received tens of thousands of hits from their site (distributed through their Skype chat & IRC helped a lot once I was banned). I eventually sold the website for $40 to the admin of the community because "I don't care if you proved he's a scammer, it's bad for the image of my forum and I want that website gone." I took the $40, made a new account and started over in the community pretending to be someone entirely different.

Holy shit long comment...But uhh..Reminiscing is fun.
