[Episode Discussion] Hawkeye Season 1 Episode 6 - Wednesday, December 22, 2021

I feel like there are two key aspects to his character that make him menacing. Yes, that he tanks and can deal a significant amount of damage. But more importantly in my opinion is the grip he has on the criminal underworld and the feeling that he’s always two steps ahead of the protagonist that makes him a much more compelling and menacing villain. Take that away and he’s no different from a generic tank-like side character. Not to mention he only tanks damage in the episode, never really deals it.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Vincent but I just feel like the Daredevil show really hit the nail on the head when it comes to what I just described, and this Hawkeye episode seems to be missing the crucial aspects to his character.
