I think it could be slightly diff. Because even with Edward Norton's case, The Incredible Hulk was still mentioned OOC, marketed as part of teh MCU, and when they brought Ross back, that was the first in universe instance where that movie was in any way reacknowledged, but out of universe, the movie was mentioned til the very end in marketting and such. daredevil on the otehr hand, and teh Netflxi shows, where at first mentioned to be in teh MCU, but only by Marvel TV, Marvel studios at the time didnt acknowledge them, and eventually thru interviews and such, it seemed people like Feigi started refering to said shows as a sorta elsewords stuff, one time I think feigi straight up implied when asked about the show that it would be nice, that he is always looking for "inspiration material in comics and tv shows" and such to use
