Everyone's feelings on Zack Snyder after viewing BvS Ultimate Edition.

I thought the bulk of the movie was significantly improved by the Ultimate Cut, to the point where I actually like the movie now (as opposed to before, where I tolerated the movie because I enjoyed the last two action scenes so much).

However, ironically the "Batman v Superman" part of the movie, the title fight that has so much build-up, is now the absolute worst part. It's anticlimactic by coming up with a last-minute new motivation for Superman instead of using the past couple hours of build-up, it's anticlimactic by being a fairly lame fight for the most part (very slow, very short, and wtf with that WWE sink scene), and it's anticlimactic by ending purely on a poorly-written coincidence (yes, Batman leaves because he realizes he's become Joe Chill, but the "Martha" coincidence is still the trigger, and Clark calling his mom by her first name makes no sense and is kinda weird).

So yeah, I kinda agree with you, though I know people around here are almost as sensitive as Bruce about the "Martha" thing.
