The fact that streamers are “famous” and millionaires is batshit crazy.

The only thing that worries me is not the money they make, but the power they are after. You have to be somewhat on the sociopath spectrum to want this kind of attention daily.

I have it myself where I get this raw energy from time to time that begs for me to aquire some sort of social internet power. At the end of the day though, I have to be reasonable and remind myself that it's not realistic, and I would just be in it for a power grab based on a facade. I imagine that a lot of people actually feel this way and want to be a leader instead of a follower.

Athene is a good example of the sociopathic element overpowering the rational self. I would suspect that most people that stream have a superiority or salvation complex, but their rational self is strong enough to obscure their dark side.
