Feels like WoW doesn't want people to return at this point...

Agreed, I returned the Shadowlands preorder and will wait until the reviews. It's not like I enjoy saying it, having pre-ordered BfA knowing it was an incomplete game with incomplete systems, the artwork was at least beautiful and amazing, but the game needs to play just as good. I'm not a fan of releasing incomplete games and patching behind them after not listening to Alpha and Beta feedback and still implementing your changes despite, it's a tough process to support at the stage of this game's lifecycle. A sad part wishes it could all be torn down and rebuilt, but it isn't practical, because of how collections and achievment progress works, the sunk cost of starting over would be too massive for people who have spent 1/4 of their lives on this game since it launches in 2004, and I get it. I know this goes a tad beyond the point of your post, just kind of how I've felt as it's painfully obvious their goals. When the game was originally launched, they wanted us to actually have fun, instead it's how to force the player to play the game as long as possible.
