Lol. Not sure why I feel compelled to respond to this, probably because I'm putting off finishing up a paper.

I'm a philosophy major (focusing on phenomenology and Ancient Greek philosophy) with a classics minor at a Little Ivy. My favorite philosophers are Plato and Hegel. I'm also learning Ancient Greek. I plan, however, on going to law school, not grad school, to become a public defender.

I was raised dirt poor in the rural South, and am on full financial aid. I did excellently on SAT/PSAT/AP test's etc etc etc and was the valedictorian (as if that means something at my shit school tho, lol). Since I'm poor and the school is rich, I get a stipend to cover rent and cheap food. Unfortunately, don't have enough money to go to a urologist or get three infected wisdom teeth pulled.

Also, to the woman in the parent comment who's a mental health worker, if you read this: that is a hard and thankless job. I have many family members incapacitated by mental illness who are in and out of the system, and you're doing indispensible work.
