Of course not, but that doesn't mean to blindly follow everything experts say without questioning or debate.

By your logic, if I was on reddit back in February and I told everyone to wear a mask, I would be seen as ignoring the experts- The WHO, CDC and even Fauci not only advised against masks, but said they could potentially be even more harmful than not wearing a mask lol... Thankfully I knew better than the experts, because I went out and bought masks before they were sold out for months.

Also, some people recognize the science, but don't think it's worth the cost... Remember when you had scientists and health care professionals all sign letters saying racism was more deadly than covid? Supporting the protests and even protesting themselves? They ignored the experts, they had mass gatherings and many didn't socially distance or wear masks. On the flip side you have people that feel their liberties are more important than the policies put in place to fight covid.
