For a cigarette

There's no way people run Petrol stations without the two forms we use in the UK as a minimum, surely?

We use manual pump control (usually done via the till) which simply disconnects the fuel feed to the pump instantly, usage varies but it's usually to stop someone who stops paying attention and starts spilling, or idiots who decide to start smoking mid-pump.

And firemans switches, which isolates all the eletrical conductors and data feeds to allow fires to be put out without the hazards that come from trying to put out high voltage eletrical units.

I've installed a bunch of these systems over the years and i find it hard to believe there's places in the EU where aside from walking outside and physically stopping the person you have no control over the pump, that's incredibly dangerous.
