For those curious enough, Naughty Dog dev gives some insight into Mass Effect: Andromeda's animations and processes.

I've done quite a bit more than Eos. I've seen enough to get a representative portion of the game. To write off opinions because you want people to waste "just five more hours" on bad dialogue in a dialogue-centric game is asinine.

There is no reason for me to assume the dialogue will get any better. 0. none. The first main story missions were bad in narrative. The side content I've done so far is bad in narrative. Insinuating I'm an idiot with an empty opinion just because I don't want to put blind faith in a relatively unpolished game also implies that one can't draw conclusions from the last few Bioware "hits" and see how the rest of the game will go. If in 5 hours they can't impress me (beyond what ME1-3 had), why should I feel obligated to waste more time on it just because someone is browbeating me about how "5 hours of dialogue scenes will suddenly not be shit anymore because you just gotta believe"

What scale, I ask? Everything I see online, with moderate spoiling for myself, shows that the content largely repeats upon the model set by the point up to Eos and that it is relatively empty compared to previous ME, as I suspected (again learning from recent Bioware products). Is that a wrong impression?

I'll revisit the game when Scorpio is released, when presumably there are patches and the full SP DLC is out. Who knows, maybe they'll see the writing on the wall and do a rework of the dialogue lighting/camera/animation rigging to salvage good faith like the free DLC for ME3. Because outside of dialogue, all you have is a janky TPS and boring collection for the outpost shit.
