Fort Worth Police Officer Fatally Shoots Woman Inside Her Home

Yes. Police can use lethal force if they feel their lives are in jeopardy. That even means if you don't comply to their verbal commands, you become a risk to them and they can use lethal force. All they have to say is that they felt their lives were at risk and for a judge/jury to believe them, if the case even gets that far.

She was not armed but she had a weapon in the house. It is very easy, very legal and very common to have handguns and rifles in most homes in Texas. I grew up and still live in Texas. Don't ask why I still live here since I own no firearms.

No threats that we know of. Her neighbor thought it was weird that her lights were on at 2:30am and the front door was open but the screen door in front of the front door was closed.

LOL. No suicide vest. Just in her house, in a bedroom. Police officer assumed the worst that she was a criminal and saw a gun though she was not holding it. He tells her to put her hands and she moves and bang. She's dead. And she's the homeowner.
