Well to be fair, you don't need a better strategy to avoid getting third partied by planes. Just avoiding it's trajectory by disengaging for a few seconds is easy enough, and after as the plane is flying by you can land a lot of easy shots on it. Then, after that, you can continue with your fight. Plus, if the person you're fighting is still in the way of the plane as it flies by, they'll get killed or weakened to the point where you can kill them yourselves. You don't always have to be completely in the middle of the action at all times, especially when there's a rapidly firing machine gun plane hurdling towards you that can easily be avoided by just jumping away for a couple seconds.

And as I said, planes aren't too common and are often in hot drops, so if you manage to grab one, you've earned the perks that come with said plane (which aren't even that good).

Also, M1's aren't being added until the next update, so if you meant M4's or hunting rifles please check your terminology next time, it makes your post seem silly.
