Life is about learning from experiences. You went 0-100 with this dude because you didn't have a previous similar experience to learn from (or maybe you did but chose foolishly not to learn from it). Now that you have this experience, going forward you now know how things can turn out no matter how good they seem so you shouldn't go 0-100 as the next guy can just as easily ghost you or do whatever else ruining what you thought you had. So stay level headed and focus on what you actually have rather than on what you think/want to believe you have with each person going forward and that'll save you a lot of headache.

Don't overdo this thinking by unfairly putting the faults of others in the past onto people of the future letting it hinder the progression of getting to know people healthily going forward though
