The freshly depressed face of a white supremacist.

“[The greatest evil is the indifference of good men]” -Elie Wiesel or Boondock Saints, whichever you prefer

Good people always have the same options, but they lose the privilege of indifference when evil shows up at their own door. Waiting for violence to be the only option is a perspective only available with hindsight, and it is the result of indifference.

What would it take to make non-nazis less indifferent about the tolerated existence of these seditious protests? How much time and space in our media and minds will others’ indifference afford them to propagate their hateful ideology, until we collectively decide we don’t want fascism to permeate our definition of freedom?
