It will destroy the Republican Party in the sense of how it was Pre-Trump. Once destroyed, there will be a power vacuum that QAnon Fascist Nazis will occupy. Whether they call themselves "The Patriot Party" or "New Republicans" they are staying and that is dangerous. Once the Republican Party goes down, the country is next. It is not either/or. The cleanup will either be the US getting balkanized after a Civil War, or an authoritarian dictator calling the shots. I don't see how centrist Democrats can contain this. The Weimer Republic was full of centrists and could not contain fascism and neither will Bidens Democratic Party. I'm a doomer sorry lol much respecc
