Guys... Theres still massive protests in Venezuela. It hasn't stopped.

Holy shit dude, you didn't need to get hostile there.

I was just saying I literally do not know enough about US involvement with Africa, so I wasn't going to comment on it.

How does capitalism make it impossible to starve to death exactly? Capitalism is responsible for sweatshop workers in China getting paid pennies every day so they can try to fucking make it one more day, all so the corporate American man can save on production costs. When you look at the stark difference in literal quality of LIFE for these two people, (or even our own quality of life) how can you say capitalism a success? A successful system does not rob a majority of the population of humanity. It is not fucking natural to work 40 hours a week, selling hours of our time just so we can GET BY to spend what little time we have left as we please.

All I'm saying is we have resources and technology to provide for everyone. Instead, we spend it on useless shit like advertising and marketing. When profit is consistently prioritized over prosperity of human beings, and the effects are as dire as they fucking are right now, then yeah, I'd say capitalism is quite the failure.
